Next 3 Weeks

In the next 3 weeks I need to lose about 20 pounds so that I can eat the following things on my trip to Sweet Home Alabama:

Milo's Cheeseburger, Fries, and Jumbo Sweet Tea
Chick-Fil-A Chicken Biscuit, Chicken Sandwich, and Waffle Fries
Fried Crab Claws, Fried Shrimp, and Hush Puppies,
Christmas Feast at the Smith's Christmas
Pulled Pork Sandwich
Zapata White Cheese Dip
Krystal's

That is all I can think of now, but I am sure the list will grow along with my belly!

Hobbies

I am always searching for the perfect hobby. I tried sewing, but I don't have my Mom or Grandmother's talent. After sewing, I tried knitting. I really enjoyed this, but got bored with it. I saw in one of my magazines that embroidery was the new HOT hobby. This only lasted about 5 minutes. I have all the supplies if anyone wants them! Now I am into wreath making, gluing plates to candlesticks, and refinishing furniture. Yesterday I sanded the plant stand I bought 6 months ago. maybe in 6 more months in will be finished.

Happenings in San Mateo

This past week has been a busy one!

On Saturday, Bryan watched VERY important football games with Dave. Kelly and I did not want to watch them watch football, so we ventured into the city. We too the long haul on the train and then bus to the Palace of Fine Arts. It is a beautiful place in the city. After our walking tour. we ventured to Chestnut Street for some shopping and lunch. The first stop was a cute olive oil store. We then went into Dress. This store caught our eye because of the purse warehouse sale. They were super cute but out of our price range. We had crepes for lunch and got cupcakes to take home to our hubbies. The highlight of our trip was Benefit make-up. We had our make up touched up by a guy from Mountain Brook! He was a cutie and made us look like the Southern Belles we are :)

Sunday was another fun day. My friend Jackie has never been to Wine Country. Bryan and I took her and her BFF to Russian River Valley. We went to all of our favorites and got some good wine and champagne for the holidays. Jackie thinks Wine Country looks like Farmville.

Now we are getting ready for the Op't Holt's to visit. We are going to see Wicked!!!! I am watching Wizard of Oz tonight to prepare myself.

Veteran's Day

Thank you all to all military serving now and in the past for making this country safe.
